KUALA LUMPUR: Tonnes of mud from a landslide entered three homes in Taman Melawati, Bukit Mas, yesterday.
The 1.30pm incident destroyed a retaining wall under construction behind the homes, located in a three-storey building.
A resident, identified as Selvapragasam, said it was lucky no one was at home when the landslide occurred.
"But my home is filled with mud," said the 60-year-old.
A construction worker, who only wanted to be identified as Harun, said he escaped the landslide by running to a nearby hill after hearing a loud noise.
"I was lucky. My colleagues and I were working at the wall earlier."
The landslide which caused the collapse of the retaining wall at Jalan H4 in Taman Melawati yesterday.
