MOTORISTS heading into Bandar Puteri Puchong can expect to experience smoother traffic flow around the Giant hypermarket traffic lights area by April next year. 

This is because developer IOI Bhd is currently constructing a flyover to alleviate congestion around the area. It is expected to be completed in April.  

There will also be multi-storey car parks made available in the near future to ease parking constraints.  

This new traffic dispersal scheme came about after careful study by IOI and with approval from the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ). It is expected to be operational within the next two weeks

MPSJ councillor Samson David Maman, who is also adviser to Residents Committee Zone 20 Bandar Puteri/Taman Wawasan, said minor adjustments would be made to signages and the traffic flow after the new traffic dispersal scheme was implemented. 

"The road works will require some patience and consideration from all road users. All parking lots within the commercial area will then be repainted for angular parking," said Maman. 

He advised the public to follow all road directions.
