Clear emergency lanes of stalled vehicles
I HAVE been following closely the series of the road tragedies involving vehicles, the latest one in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan, in which a car ploughed into the back of a stationary truck on the expressway.
Tragedies of such nature could have been avoided if the relevant authorities, including Plus expressway Bhd (PLUS), had taken more effective action to ensure that no vehicles are parked along the emergency lanes, including road shoulders, for long periods, particularly at night.
