Class 1 Plus and Elite highway users will enjoy an additional 10 per cent discount when paying tolls between 12.01am and 7am on selected days during the Chinese New Year festive period. 

Plus Expressways Bhd managing director Noorizah Abd Hamid said the extra discount is applicable for travel on Jan 21, 22, 23, 26, 29 and 30, in conjunction with the celebrations. 

This 10 per cent discount is in addition to the 10 per cent discount already enjoyed by Class 1 Plus and Elite highway users during non-peak hours starting Jan 1, 2009. 

Noorizah said the idea of the discount is to encourage the diversion of traffic flow to non-peak hours, which is aimed at enabling travellers to enjoy a comfortable and smooth journey during the festive season.
