KUALA LUMPUR- Motorists using the MTD highways will be able to contribute towards alleviating the plight of the Palestinians.The ? Tabung Palestin ? made avaible since 6 pm on Friday at every cash lane and Touch ?n Go point of sales their loose change whenever paying toll or making the Touch?n Go transactions.

Present to observe the placement of the coin boxes at the Gombak toll plaza was Malaysian Highway Authority dirctor-general Datuk Mohamad Razali Othman and MTD senior officials.

?The idea was mooted by  Works Minister Datuk Mohd Zin Moha,ed, who felt that the public would contribute more should contribution centres  be made more accessible to them ? Razali said.

MTD will place about 70 boxes along the KL-Karak Highway, the East Coast Expressway and  the East-West link Expressway (between Taman Connaught and Jalan Klang Lama Interchange here)
