THERE will be temporary disruption of street lighting along certain sections of the Duta-Ulu KelangExpressway (Duke) due to vandalism and theft. 

Highway concessionaire Konsortium Lebuhraya Utara-Timur (KL) Sdn Bhd said the affected routes are: 

 between 1.4km and 2km (west bound) after Jalan Kuching interchange heading towards Jalan Duta toll plaza (from NKVE) 

 at Karak interchange, between 1.1km towards 1.8km (towards Bandar Dalam exit)

 between 2.8km and 3.8km (north bound) towards Greenwood / Karak interchange

"The Duke management is currently rectifying the problem and working with the relevant authorities to prevent further cable theft. 

"In the interim, Duke management seeks the public?s cooperation in exercising extra care while driving along the affected routes at night," it said in a statement.
