Ministry of Works hosted ‘BERBUKA PUASA’  with Y.B Dato’ Shaziman Abu Mansor , Minister of Works on 25th August 2010 at Dewan Tan Sri Mahfoz Khalid recently. In spite of the ceremony, heartiest souvenirs from ministry denizens were delivered to single mothers in conjunction with the upcoming Aidilfitri celebration.

Ministry of Works has endorsed PLUS Expressways’ new effort via launching by   Y.B Dato’ Shaziman Abu Mansor , Minister of Works on MUFORS Galery on 20th August 2010.

Orphanage kids had their breaking of fast with Y.B Dato’Shaziman Abu Mansor , Minister of Works at Tropicana Damansara Golf Country & Resort on 19th August 2010 .

  Ministry of Works was on its official visit lead by Y.B Dato’ Shaziman Abu Mansor,   Minister of Works to Slope Site Section 98.1 , FT185 Route , Simpang Pulai – Lojing , Gua Musang on 10th August .

Kajang – Seremban Highway is now open to public which was officiated by Y.B Dato ‘ Shaziman Abu Mansor , Minister of Works on 9th August  recently.
Part of the highway was first opened in February 2004 and stretching from Kajang Selatan to Paroi , the highway is 44.3km long and cost RM1.8 billion to build.

The 7th Malaysian Construction Sector Review and Outlook Seminar were held on 3rd August at Putra World trade Centre. The seminar was officiated by Y.Bhg Datuk Thomas George, Secretary General of Ministry of Works on behalf of Y.B Dato’ Shaziman Abu Mansor , Minister of Works .

 Second Phase East Coast Highway linking Jabor in Pahang and Kampung Gemuruh in Kuala Terengganu is expected to be completed by June 2012. Y.B Dato’ Shaziman Abu Mansor , Minister of Works made the statements in relevance to the Second Phase East Coast Highway during the press conference held on 2nd August in the midst of his Official visit to Terengganu.

Ministry of Works has allocated RM30.5 Million to upgrade strategic roads leading to airports, shipping ports and industrial areas. Among them are those leading to Port Klang , the Kuala Lumpur International Airport Highway , the Middle Ring Road II and Jalan Kulim Hi – Tech .

Sg.Perak R&R Spot has been launched with its new look on 19th July by Y.B Dato’ Yong Khoon Seng , Deputy Minister of Ministry of Works on behalf of Y.B Dato’ Shaziman Abu Mansor , Minister of Works .

Ministry of Works has signed in Supplemental Agreement on Review for East Zone Federal Building Maintenance and Management Service Privatization Fee. The ceremony held on 16th July was represented by Y.Bhg Datuk Thomas George, Secretary General of Ministry of Works
