Malaysian Highways Authority (MHA) has been recognized for its comprehensive quality management through the certification of MS ISO 9001: 2008 and MS ISO 14001 : 2004. Y.B Minister of Works Dato’ Shaziman Abu Mansor has highlighted that concrete commitment by (MHA) denizens has been proved via the certification from SIRIM Qas International Sdn Bhd.

The Launching Ceremony of Kuala Krau Bridge, Temerloh was held on 8th Mac 2010 at Jenderak District, Temerloh, Pahang. The launching ceremony officiated by Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Ahmad Shah. According to Y.B Minister of Works, Dato’ Shaziman Abu Mansor, “government ensures that all the implemented projects would benefit its people always.” In addition, Y.B Minister said that the Kuala Krau Bridge would uphold the state’s economic status.

PUSPANITA KKR recently organized a Hi-Tea ceremony at Dewan Tan Sri Mahfoz Khalid, Complex Kerja Raya on 5th March 2010. The ceremony officiated by Y.Bhg Datin Rozana Mohamed Khalid, Patron of PUSPANITA, Ministry of Works.

Ministry of Works held its monthly assembly for the month of Mac on 4th Mac 2010 at Dewan Tan Sri Mahfoz Khalid, Complex Kerja Raya. The assembly officiated by Secretary General of Ministry of Works Y.Bhg Datuk Thomas George. In his words, KSU has highlighted the implementation of Strategic Plan throughout the ministry. The assembly was attended by all the ministry denizens.

Recently, Y.B Minister of Works has launched Setul and Ampangan Junction on 1st Mac 2010 at Setul Tol Plaza, Kajang – Seremban Highway (LEKAS). In his speech, Y.B Minister highlighted the proposal of Second Link Highway of Taiping – Johor will be reviewed again concerning the verification of high traffic volume and the need for an alternative highway.

Minstry of Works has organized Chinese New Year celebration for the year 2010 on 25th February at Dewan Tan Sri Mahfoz Khalid, complex Kerja Raya recently. The celebration was cherished by Y.B Minister of Works Dato’ Shaziman Abu Mansor with all his ministry’s denizens approximately 0f 500 people.

Y.B Minister of Works Dato’ Shaziman Abu Mansor was on his official visit to Perak to supervise the projects conducted by the ministry in that state. The one day visit was made on 22nd February 2010 . Sungai Pinang Jetty was the first spot to be visited and Y.B Minster announced the jetty will be replaced with a new one worth of RM 1.7 Million.

Kementerian Kerja Raya telah menganjurkan Persidangan Perancangan Strategik 2010 bermula 17 hingga 20 Februari 2010 bertempat di Pulai Springs Resort, Johor . Persidangan tersebut telah disertai seramai 90 pegawai – pegawai kanan KKR dan agensi di bawahnya.

Ministry of Works has organized The Launching Ceremony of Highway Safety Campaign in conjunction with upcoming Chinese New Year celebration on 8th February 2010. The ceremony took place at South Kajang Toll Plaza, Kajang -Seremban Highway (LEKAS). Minster of Works, Y.B Dato’ Shaziman Bin Hj. Abu Mansor officiated the ceremony that was cherished with the Chinese traditional performance of lion dance.

Kementerian Kerja Raya(KKR)  telah mengadakan perhimpunan bulanan pada 4 Februari 2010 di Dewan Tan Sri Mahfoz Khalid, Kompleks Kerja Raya. Perhimpunan yang bermula pada 8.15 pagi dihadiri oleh Y.B. Timbalan Menteri Kerja Raya Dato' Yong Khoon Seng bersama warga KKR serta agensi dibawahnya.  Majlis diserikan dengan nyanyian Negaraku, bacaan doa dan ucapan oleh Y.B Timbalan Menteri KKR.
