Mission:

Ensure payment made within prescribed period through government accounting system.
Provide efficient accounting services
Ensure the accounting and financial management at Responsibility Centers are implemented in accordance to rules and regulations through guidance and auditing
Provide effective and accurate accounting and financial management information.

Objective:

Ensure Ministry 's accounting system is executed in efficient and effective manners.
Establish monitoring systems that avoid loss due to fraud or negligence, under supervisions of Control Officer.
Ensure only authorized expenses are accepted and paid in the prescribed period, and record correctly and accurately.
Account all revenues collected and record correctly and accurately.
Report to Controlling Officer on extra ordinary items in Public Accounts

Activities and Function:

To account all expenditure, revenue and trust accounts transactions
To prepare Ministry annual financial statement.
To make payment for operating, development expenditures and trusts accounts.
To implement government accounting systems
To monitor implementations of government accounting systems through advisory services and inspections ( to eSPKB and eTrimaan users) and to audit cash account statements
To plan, develop and provide training on accounting and financial management programmes to Ministry's staffs

Client's Charter:

We are determined to execute the Ministry 's Accounting Management professionally and effectively, in accordance to the law and regulation. In executing this we are responsible to deliver the followings:

To make payment in five (5) working days after received complete payment voucher.
Disburse salary to Ministry employees before 25th of each month.
Release accounting report before 25th of each month.
Provide help desk service to resolve problems regarding eSPKB and eTerimaan in three (3) working days
Release observation reports within 14 days after inspecting eSPKB / collection offices
Check all Cash Account statements within 30 days after received complete document
