Vision: 

To become the department and institution that monitors agencies and boards under the Ministry; and hold the Malaysian Skills Competition (PKM), ASEAN Skills Competition (ASC) and World Skills Competition (WSC).

Mission: 
  • Establish effective methods and mechanisms to monitor agencies and boards to enhance the integrity of the   Ministry.
  • Manage and control competition organizers systematically, efficiently and effectively.
Objective: 
  • Increase agencies and boards level of professionalism in planning and carrying out their functions.
  • Assist and coordinate efforts to resolve problems / issues within the construction industry and promote the development of construction industry.
  • Provide public awareness and understanding of the importance of skills to national development and cultivating the culture of respecting and enhancing skills (skill respect culture).
Activities and Function: 
  • To manage the Agencies top management and legal aspects
  • To monitor and assist in the preparation of the Agencies OSP and itsimplementation
  • To monitor and assist CIDB
  • To develop and expand the Nation?s construction industry
  • To test, encourage and research building technologies and skills inthe construction industry
  • To monitor the accreditation and registration process of contractors and skilled workers
  • To develop information related to the contruction industry which are the focus of the industrialists
  • To outline and implement the skills development training plan
  • To assist PSDC in developing a professional services database and enhance  the skill level of the professional group
  • To monitor and assist the Board of Architects, Engineers and Quantity Surveyors  to develop a database and promote their activities
  • To coordinate the planning and management of the Malaysia Skills Competition, ASEAN Skills Competition and World Skills Competition amongst the public and  private agencies
Client's Charter: 
  • Ensure the appointment of board members is resolved within two (2) months from the date of nomination by the agency.
  • Ensure the Agency and Boards’ Annual Reports are tabled in the Parliament  in December each year or as of the date determined by the Parliamentary Office.
  • Manage and implement the General Meeting of the Implementation of Industrial Building System (IBS) which is held once every two months or when necessary. Conduct a meeting with IBS Components Committee and Technical Committee from time to time.
  • Organizing the Malaysian Skills Competition (PKM) annually.Join the ASEAN Skills Competition (ASC) and World Skills Competition (WSC) once every two years.
  • Prepare the BPAK annual activities and performance development Report for the publication of KKR Annual Report.
